Judge declares accused Arizona shooting competent

TUSCON, Ariz. -- The man accused of shooting Representative Gabrielle Giffords and 18 others in January 2011 was found competent to stand trial.

A court-appointed psychiatrist testified that Jared Lee Loughner was competent to enter a plea in the shooting rampage and to stand trial.

Loughner is accused of killing six people and injuring 13 others, including Giffords.
