Judge sentences convicts to shoveling snow

CLEVELAND -- Shovel ling snow might seem like a punishment to some, but it is handed down sentencing from one Ohio judge.

Judge Williams Dawson shovels snow for the elderly, and he took this childhood pass time to a whole new level. He told the convicts in his courtroom to grab a shovel. This isn't the first time Judge Dawson has gotten creative with punishments.

"One guy told me 'I like to run from police.' I said, 'Is that right? Then maybe you should meet me and my bailiff on Saturday so that you can run all over with us, since you love running so much,'" said Judge Dawson.

The Judge said it is all just motivation to give back to the community he grew up in.
