Jury convicts man in shooting death of MI state trooper

LUDINGTON, Mich. — A Michigan jury has convicted a man accused of shooting and killer a Michigan State Trooper.


A jury took only 90 minutes to convict Eric Knysz in the shooting death of Trooper Paul Butterfield.


In two interviews, Knysz admitted to shooting Butterfield in September because he did not want to be arrested for driving on a suspended license.
