Jury finds Benford Davis guilty of murder of Sherry Houston

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A jury deliberated for less than an hour before finding 51-year-old Benford Davis guilty of murdering 57-year-old Sherry Houston in March 2018, according to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Houston was strangled in her Prairie Street home in March 2018. She had a relationship with Davis in the weeks before her death, according to the prosecutor's office.
