Juvenile female approached by adult male

The juvenile was walking to Hawthorne School along West Lusher Avenue, when she was approached by a Hispanic male on a bicycle.
The man attempted to grab the girl but she ran away.
Police described the man as Hispanic, around 5'6” to 5'7”, in his middle 40's, with a skinny build and salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a brown baseball cap, brown work pants, and a black hoodie.
He was said to be riding a black bicycle.
Police were dispatched to Hawthorne School Thursday morning.
They are asking residents in the surrounding area to keep an eye out for the man.
