Kids At Camp Get the Irish Experience

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Kids across South Bend are participating in the "Irish Experience" today for the second Sunday in a row!

The purpose of the camp is to get kids across the area involved in youth sports.

As well as build character through the Notre Dame athletic department.

The kids played flag football, ultimate frisbee, and kickball.

And members of the irish family were there to help with the camp.

"It's a lot of fun for us because we get to kind of do what we do everyday and we get to play sports and share that with these young kids that maybe wouldn't be exposed to that otherwise, its a chance for us to connect with them and they provide us with a lot if entertainment too," one Member said.

The camp will take place the next two Sundays and 250 kids attended camp last week.

That is the most ever in "Irish Experience" history.
