MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The smell of Port-a-Pit chicken was in the air at the Phillips 66 on SR 23 in Mishawaka.
A traveling baseball team was holding a fundraiser to help raise funds for a big baseball tournament. The coaches decided instead of asking parents for money they are going to make the kids earn it.
They believe this is not only a great way to raise money but an important opportunity to teach the kids about the value of a dollar.
The coaches and kids expected to raise over a thousand dollars today for their big trip.
