La Casa De Amistad celebrates 40 years

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A local non-profit celebrated it's 40th anniversary Thursday night.
La Casa De Amistad is a local non-profit community center located on South Bend's west side.
They held a special awards dinner at St. Adalbert's Parish.
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg was also on hand. He delivered a speech to the attendees in Spanish.
A silent auction was held after the dinner to help raise money for the organization.
