SOUTH BEND, Ind. – In recognition of National Farmworker Awareness week, La Casa de Amistad in South Bend shared to Facebook Proteus’ long-sleeve shirt drive to help protect farmworkers under the hot sun.

The drive begins March 22^nd through March 31^st at WorkOne Northern Indiana on 851 South Marietta St in South Bend. To drop-off, call the center to schedule a drop-off time at (574) 855-5326.

Donations can also be dropped off at La Casa de Amistad on 746 South Meade Street in South Bend. For questions, call the organization at (574) 233-2120.
