Lake Michigan College cancels in-person classes through April 13

In order to protect students, employees and visitors, Lake Michigan College is canceling in person classes from March 23 through April 13. There are no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID19 on any campus or the college's service district.

Additionally, all campuses will be closed to students and non-essential staff on Friday, March 13.

From March 16 - 23, all in-person classes will be canceled. Online classes will continue as normal.

As of March 23, all classes will be through distance learning if possible.

On April 13, classes are expected to resume as normal.

Employees at Allegan County Area Technical & Education Center, Brandywine High School, and Van Buren Technology Center will be subject to directives from those respective school systems.

Residence Hall

As of Thursday, Beckwith Hall will remain open. Students who choose to move out of the residence hall will receive a prorated discount for the remainder of the semester.

Mendel Center and Other College Activities and Events  

Effective immediately, any events scheduled through April 13, that have more than 100 attendees will be canceled or rescheduled.
