Happy September and meteorological fall! Quiet and comfortable weather persists much of this week. Tonight, will be cooler as the humidity has completely left the region. Lows tonight getting near 50 degrees under clear skies. Labor Day is very pleasant with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s. Waves on Lake Michigan die down as winds do as well tonight. Labor Day features waves of 1-2 feet, so swimming will be safer tomorrow. Otherwise, we warm back into the 80s by Wednesday and the humidity briefly returns Thursday into Friday. A cold front brings showers on Friday and will substantially cool us down only into the 60s next weekend.
