Lakeland Care offering drive-through community flu shots this fall

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Lakeland Care will be offering drive-through community flu shots in September and October at various locations around Berrien County.

Lakeland Care will be administering the quadrivalent flu vaccine for $32, which offers protection against four different flu viruses.

The high-dose quadrivalent flu vaccine will be available for $65 those ages 65 and older.

Community members ages 18 and over can stay in their cars and get a flu shot between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the following days:

  • Thursday, September 16 at the Center for Outpatient Services in St. Joseph (enter off Maiden Lane)
  • Thursday, September 30 at Spectrum Health Lakeland Watervliet Hospital
  • Thursday, October 7 at Spectrum Health Lakeland Niles Hospital
  • Friday, October 8 at the Center for Outpatient Services in St. Joseph (enter off Maiden Lane)

Appointments are not needed to get the shot.

If community members want Lakeland Care to bill their health insurance, they will need to bring their insurance card with them.

Lakeland Care is accepting cash or check only. Credit cards will not be accepted.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend a yearly flu vaccine for everyone ages six months and older.
