Largest chamber music competition held at Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame is hosting the nation’s largest chamber music competition that brings people from all over the world to South Bend. Over the next two days it will feature more than 100 ensembles. They all hope to take home the top prize.

Competition began Friday morning and runs through Sunday at DeBartolo.

The competition was founded in South Bend

The youngest is 13 this year.

If you want to see any of the competition it is all free – except for the grand prize concert Sunday.

Events run through 8 p.m. Friday and start up again at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
