Last chance to get tickets for President's visit

If you want to see President Obama when he comes to Michiana on Wednesday, there is only a short time left to get tickets ahead of the event.

On Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., people can stop by McCuen Gym at Concord High School to pick up a ticket.
According to the White House Press Office, there are very few remaining tickets available for the public. The tickets are first-come, first-served and only one ticket is available per person.

Monday was the first day people could get tickets for the President's visit. This visit will be the second time President Obama has come to Concord. During his time in Elkhart, this will be the only stop he will make that will be open to the public.

Some people camped out all night to make sure they were able to get a ticket.

"I got here at about 1 a.m. and sat in my car until the other lady came at 4 a.m. and we decided to sit down," said Camilla Moe who was the first person in line.

Moe said she talked with others about their wishes for the future. "I hope that our country could continue on the forward path that it's been on with Obama over the last eight years. We think that he has really helped recover our country," she added.

After the President visits at the school on Wednesday, he will attend a town hall meeting with selected Elkhart residents at the Lerner Theater.
