Hot and Humid Independence Day, Storms return Sunday
ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, August 22, 2020
It'll be another warm, but pleasant evening across Michiana. Temperatures will fall through the 80s and 70s this evening with tolerable humidity. Overnight lows will bottom out in the middle 60s.
A fairly-long stretch of 90-degree heat arrives on Sunday across Michiana. While a shower or storm is possible Sunday afternoon, I think almost all of us will stay dry. We'll be hot and rain-free Monday through Wednesday, and it could start to feel more humid as well. Our next chance of rain arrives late on Thursday into Friday, although there's still considerable uncertainty with that system. We'll continue to monitor Tropical Storms Laura and Marco to see how they will impact our weather pattern as well.
Tonight: Clear skies. Low 64
Tomorrow: Mainly sunny and hot. A stray shower or storm is possible. High 90.
Monday: Sunny and hot. High 90.
Tuesday: Sunny and hot. High 92.
