There's relief for California homeowners with grass that has withered in the drought.
Meet Kerri McCoy, professional lawn painter.
She says the paint is a non-toxic, vegetable-based turf dye.
A paint job on the average yard costs about $229.
It takes about an hour to dry and lasts about 3-months.
The practice became popular during the housing bust, when banks wanted curb appeal for foreclosures where the water had been turned off.
