ELKHART, Ind. - The Lerner Theatre unveiled its annual holiday window installations in downtown Tuesday evening. This year's installations are inspired by the movie Elf.
The window installations were first introduced during the pandemic but were so popular, organizers decided to make it a tradition.
"We started it pre, like during the pandemic because people couldn't come and enjoy a show at the Learner," said Amber Heydon, Communications & Marketing Coordinator for The Lerner. "So we wanted something for the community to enjoy, even as they're just driving by and it was a safe way for people to do that. And now that the Learner is open, we still wanted to have that during the holiday season."
Premier Arts will perform Elf the Musical at the Lerner from December 16 through 19.
Residents can also check out a free showing of Elf, the movie, at 3 p.m. on December 3 during the City of Elkhart Winterfest.
