ELKHART, Ind. -- Linton’s Enchanted Gardens hosted an Easter Egg-Straordinair on Friday.
The community was invited to bring non-perishable canned goods to benefit Church Community Services.
The Easter Bunny even made a special appearance to take pictures with kids and families.
Those who wanted pictures needed to donate one canned good per person.
The event also had a petting zoo complete with baby chicks, ducks, calf lambs and goats.
“Walking around here and just hearing and feeling the excitement of all the kids. They’re so excited to see the Easter Bunny as well as all the animals here," owner Mark Linton said.
The Easter Eggs-press train was also chugging along throughout the event to take kids to the Easter eggs patch where they could hunt for eggs and other treats.
The Easter Egg-Straordinair will continue on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Linton's Enchanted Gardens is located at 315 County Rd 17 in Elkhart.
