ELKHART Ind. -- Lippert introduced the company’s new 42-foot custom RV on Tuesday that will serve as a mobile care unit which will provide free healthcare services to 7,500 employees.
These healthcare services will be available to all Lippert employees regardless of being enrolled in the company’s medical coverage plans.
“A lot of people, you know, don't have the resources to go to the doctor to get a checkup, and we went, as a company, above and beyond to try to make those resources available,” said Jennifer Groves, Quality Manager for Lippert.
Services will provide acute care, chronic disease management and well-being procedures that will help workers manage their stress and mental health challenges.
Lippert officials say the mobile care unit is not presented as a replacement to primary care doctors.
