ELKHART, Ind -- A local technology company decides to end their relationship with a consumer who makes up a large percentage of their sales.
AE Techron provides industrial size amplifiers and other electrical devices but after the recent news, they’ve decided to discontinue their relationship with Russia.
The company has been in business for 30 years and says 50% of their sales are international.
With a large majority coming from both Russia and Europe.
Regardless of the lost income AE Techron has decided to end it nearly two year relationship with their Russian buyers.
"Our first core value is to do what’s right for the employee, the customer, and the community. And in that 50% of our sales are national, we feel a very close connection both Europe and Asia, which is where a big portion of our sales go. So both to make a statement to Russia by saying we will no longer supply technology to Russia, we’re also making a statement to our fellow suppliers and distributors in Europe that we stand strongly with them," said AE Techron President Larry Shank.
