Local firefighters participate in bus extrication drills

Penn Township and other area fire departments participated in a bus extrication drill Tuesday morning.

The drill began Tuesday and will continue Wednesday and Friday mornings.

The drill will test fire suppression, stabilization, rescue and multi-casualty response capabilities of local fire and EMS.

In the scenario, a Transpo bus, which was donated by Transpo, rolled over onto a car.

The bus extrication drills are happening at the Penn Township Fire Department Training Center on Apple Road in Osceola.
