Local firefighters raise money for breast cancer

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Local firefighters went a little out of their element on Thursday.
ABC57 caught up with a group of guys at Nicholas J. Salon and Spa on Eddy Street Commons.
They spent the day sweeping, cleaning and even serving drinks to a few lucky ladies and all to raise money for breast cancer research.
That is just one way they are helping find a cure.
The fire department has actually spent the whole month dedicating themselves to a cure for this disease.
Throughout the whole month of October the fire department is also selling breast cancer awareness t-shirts.
