One person dead after shooting at gas station
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Tis the season for dead batteries, failed alternators, and starter troubles!
Keeping your vehicle running when the temperature plunges below zero can be a major challenge.
Tim Wrightsman, a mechanic at Skiles Automotive in Roseland, walked ABC57’s Jackie Bauer through a typical inspection, talked about the issues they typically see this time of year, and how folks can avoid being left stranded!
"In this area especially with the roads being as salty as they are, and with as many potholes as are around here...We see a lot of suspension problems... a lot of rusted cars... a lot of times those go hand in hand... definitely if you hear a weird front-end noise or something weird in your car, you should get it checked out,” said Wrightsman.
Experts recommend bringing your car in even for the slightest sound or concern.
