SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- LaSalle Kitchen & Tavern announced via Facebook on Monday that the business is taking a break for the time being.

The tavern stated they've seen growing demand for private events and pop-up dining experiences, new opportunities which they plan to explore.

The official post states in part:

"In the meantime, our focus will turn to ensuring every guest continues to enjoy the exceptional hospitality and cuisine of LaSalle Grill, the experience that started it all.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for every visit, every celebration, and every toast shared with us. Your encouragement means the world, and we can’t wait to welcome you back when the time is right."
