SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Mother’s Day preparations are underway here in South Bend, with many restaurants holding brunches and dinners to honor mothers and grandmothers.
In downtown South Bend, Fiddler’s Hearth is planning a Mother’s Day carvery with live music.
The buffet will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from noon to 2 p.m., Bill Bosler, a Michiana musician, will play the Hammered Dulcimer.
Just east of downtown, Carmela's will host a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with openings left for last minute reservations.
