Local supermarket evacuated

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A quiet weekend trip to the supermarket was interrupted by an evacuation!
It happened Sunday evening at Martin's Supermarket in South Bend on State Road 23 and Ironwood.
South Bend Firefighters responded to the call around 5:00 p.m.
Dispatch told us that the meat department had a small fire.
Everyone inside the store was evacuated into the parking lot and shortly after allowed back into the building.
