Love found not guilty in death of coworker


ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A St. Joseph County jury found Tommy O. Love not guilty of voluntary manslaughter in the death of a coworker at Patrick Metals.

Love was found not guilty on Thursday.

Love was accused of stabbing his coworker, Aaron Woods, to death on February 6, 2018.

Police said surveillance video showed Love walking from the lunch area with food he had just heated up when Woods slapped the food from Love's hands and pushed him against a wall, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Love told police he then stabbed Woods with a pocket knife, according to the probable cause affidavit.
