LPGA to make stop in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – It is official! The road to the LPGA will be making a stop in South Bend!

The Four Winds Casino Invitational will be held this August at the Blackthorn Golf Course.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg was on hand for Wednesday's announcement. He says the tournament will be great for the city of South Bend and LPGA members agreed -- the invitational won't disappoint!

The golf course plans to launch an official website for the event soon.

"You're going to bring your family and friends out and have a great time getting involved with the event. And you're going to see some amazing competition,” said Allison Duncan, a LPGA member.
