Lynn Coleman concedes loss

Lynn Coleman was unable to clench the second district congressional seat Tuesday.

Coleman, a Democrat, challenged Republican incumbent Congresswoman Jackie Walorski.

“We gave it all we got. We gave it all we got, and we came up short,” Coleman said Tuesday.

Coleman, a retired South Bend police officer, says he doesn’t regret running for the first time.

“I will be eternally grateful for having this opportunity, and just because it’s over with, I’m not done. We will still find a way to serve people in this community,” Coleman said.
