Man arrested for making threat to Three Rivers Middle School

THREE RIVERS, Mich. - Michigan State Police arrested a man for allegedly threatening to "shoot up" Three Rivers Middle School on Friday.

Law enforcement began investigating after the 54-year-old suspect called a news station in Kalamazoo and said he was going to shoot up the school.

Police did not find any weapons during a search of the suspect's home in Three Rivers.

The man is being held at the St. Joseph County Jail on the charge of making terrorist threats.

Police are not releasing his name at this time.
