Man arrested in downtown South Bend following traffic stop

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police arrested one person following a traffic stop on W. Western Avenue downtown Thursday afternoon.
Police said a person ran from the vehicle that was stopped near the intersection of Michigan and W. Western.
Officers searched the area for the subject.
One person was taken into custody, police said.
