LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. – A Kendallville man was booked into the LaGrange County Jail after he fell asleep at a stop sign and his vehicle rolled off the road into a ditch.

A sheriff’s deputy stopped at the intersection around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, where it happened and investigated the cause.

The driver, Ricky Randol, was allegedly Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated.

Randol took a Certified Breath Test where he was found to have a BAC of .084.

LaGrange County Sheriff’s office transported him to the jail, where they charged him with an OWI.
