Man dead after car crashes into tree in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, Ind. — A 28-year-old man is dead after his car crashed into a tree in Lakeville.
According to police, the accident happened at around 2:45 a.m. in the 6700 block of Lake Trail.
Police say the car was traveling southeast on Lake Trail when the accident occurred.
Investigators say that speed could have been a factor but they are investigating other causes as well.
