Man dies from injuries after South Bend shooting

South Bend Police were called to the scene of a shooting in the 1400 block of North Bendix Avenue in South Bend around 6:47 Tuesday evening. 

It happened at the "Always Open" gas station. 

According to dispatch, one man was injured and taken to a local hospital. He later died of his injuries. 

The victim's identity has not yet been released.  

As of this time, police have no one in custody.   

Metro Homicide is now investigating the shooting.
