Man under arrest for driving recklessly under the influence

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest of a 41-year-old man after he allegedly drove under the influence in the evening on Thursday, April 2.

The man, Leslie D. Allen II, was charged with Operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of 0.15 percent or more, OWI endangering, and Operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.

Around 8:29 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 2, Marshall County officers responded to a report of a reckless or impaired driver headed south on US 31 near 11th Road.

The officers allegedly found the suspect vehicle, initiating traffic stop for moving violation. They say they found the driver, Allen, to be exhibiting signs of alcohol intoxication.

Allen was taken to Marshall County Jail and his bond was set at $1,500.
