Man who died in multi-vehicle crash in Elkhart County identified

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office identified 30-year-old Travis Newcomer of Ligonier as the man who recently died in a multi-vehicle crash.
The crash happened at the intersection of CR 37 and US Highway 6.
Newcomer was inside a vehicle stopped at the intersection when another vehicle heading westbound on Highway 6 rear-ended Newcomer.
The driver of the car that rear-ended Newcomer, 54-year-old James Murdock of Fort Wayne, was taken to Goshen General Hospital for blood to be drawn.
