SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame Men's Basketball announced star guard Marcus Burton will be transferring from Notre Dame to Indiana University. 

Burton, Indiana Mr. Basketball and Penn High School graduate, spent the last three seasons at Notre Dame. 

During his freshmen year at Notre Dame Burton averaged 17.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game.

Burton increased his scoring to 21.3 points per game during his sophomore year. 

Burton scored 43 pints in a game against UC Berkeley in Mar. 2025, as a career high.
