Marshall County Sheriff's Detectives remove four kids from unsafe home Thursday night

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Thanks to information provided by the Department of Child Services, the Marshall County Sheriff's Detective Bureau were able to remove four children under the age of 11 from a home that was deemed unfit and unsafe.

The alleged neglect of the children -- two-year-old twins, an eight-year-old, and a 10-year-old -- took place in a Tippecanoe residence.

A search warrant on the residence resulted in charges of felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Child Neglect, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and misdemeanor Possession of Paraphernalia against 31-year-old Skianne Kinsey.

She was arrested, transported to and booked into the Marshall County Jail.

"The safety of children is of the utmost importance to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department," said Lieutenant Detective McFarland.
