Massive sinkhole almost swallows car in NYC
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- It was a close call on a New York City street when a sinkhole almost swallowed up a car.
A 15-foot deep sinkhole opened up in Brooklyn and caused a car to teeter on the edge.
The driver of the car said she and her daughter were in the car just 5 minutes before the sinkhole opened. Officials say a sewer main break underground caused the damage.
It will likely take crews a few days to repair.
