SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department has announced that several railroad crossings on South Bend’s east side are currently blocked due to a train mechanical issue:

Crossings blocked:

• Jefferson & 30th
• Jefferson & 26th
• Jefferson & Ironwood
• Jefferson & Greenlawn

Authorities say the railroad company has not yet provided information on when the train will be moved, but they will be providing updates to the public as they receive them.
