NILES, Mich. -- The Renaissance Faire took place in Plym Park where humans, fairies, goblins, and so much more attended.
A time for anyone to take a blast to the past. The event wrapped up its first day in the medieval times with activities for all ages, and many were dressed for the occasion.
"The best thing for us at the Renaissance Faire is seeing the kids come in and the joy light up their face, and you know, the kids finding the eggs and coming in, and saying, Miss Queen, Miss Queen, I found all the eggs. That's really the best, it's the family aspect, and making the kids happy," said Carrie Nyenhuis the Queen Curiel.
Performers filled the park with music and even standup comedy for all ages. Vendors were selling a variety of food and sweet treats.
The Renaissance Faire will continue tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
