The forecast is fair until Thursday afternoon, then the weather turns sloppy, quickly. Rain changes to snow Thursday afternoon through the evening. The wet snow / rain mix could accumulate up to two inches but that's not the real concern. The greater threat is anything wet, flash freezing into Friday morning, as temperatures plummet to the teens. Lake effect snow may persist through Friday, much higher snow totals for West Michigan. The deep freeze will last through the weekend, the coldest weather Sunday and Monday with a low near zero Monday morning. The best chance of snow accumulation is Sunday night and Monday night.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 20.
Thursday: Afternoon rain/snow. Turning to snow overnight. Breezy. High 38.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. Temperatures falling from 18.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High of 14.
