MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The community is coming together to help Michiana mothers in need.
Wednesday, the nonprofit group Michiana Five for the Homeless will gather for another community diaper drive.
The Mother Goose Diaper Assistance Program will help more than 100 mothers with free diapers and wipes this year but they need your help meeting the goal.
“This week if you need to buy diapers, baby wipes, and other things for the baby, you may put off paying that gas bill. We don't want that to happen,” said John Shafer, Director of Michiana Five for the Homeless. “Little helps like this are really quite a blessing and so appreciated by the mothers that come to us.”
Diapers and wipes can be dropped off in South Bend from noon until 4 p.m. at 2206 Miami St.
