Michigan City man sentenced to prison for distributing 100 methamphetamine pills
St. Joseph County Jail: Charles Pheal Jr. ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A 35-year-old man will spend 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing 50 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine, according to the United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana.
The man, identified as Charles Pheal Jr., was also given 4 years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
According to court documents, Pheal sold 100 methamphetamine pills while on probation for Burglary of a Dwelling and Domestic Battery where he kicked open a door of a home and slapped a mother while three children were present.
Pheal's criminal history also includes a misdemeanor domestic battery conviction where he broke into a residence through the window of a child’s bedroom and struck the child’s mother.
He was also convicted and sentenced in a different case for carrying a handgun without a license.
