MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- In May, CNN reported Red Lobster was abruptly closing at least 48 locations around the country, according to a leading restaurant liquidator, with CNN now reporting 23 more closings based on court filings.
The Michigan City Red Lobster at 4353 Franklin St. is listed as one of the closures.
CNN reports the 23 locations' leases will all be rejected by Saturday, according to court filings.
Locally, the Mishawaka location remains open.
The closures continue as part of the restaurant chain's ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.
