Michigan has 1,242,253 COVID-19 cases, 23,232 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 17,980 new cases* of COVID-19, and 128 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Thursday & Friday). The average number of new cases is 8,990 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 71 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,242,253 COVID-19 cases, 23,232 deaths,1,048,073 recovered, and 10,461,157 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 18,643 confirmed cases, 318 deaths, 148,822 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,708 cases, 90 deaths, 35,613 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  8,310 cases, 118 deaths, 47,663 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 9,732 cases, 160 deaths, 76,812 vaccine doses administered
