DETROIT—A Michigan man who saw an Ohio dad’s version of a socially distanced trick or treating experience decided to try making his own: a Halloween candy zip line.
“I just like to make people smile. I had the idea on Friday then I built it over the weekend,” Matt Thompson said about his creation.
Once the zip line was rigged up on his front lawn, Thompson invited his family and friends over to give it a try.
Thompson posted the video of his Halloween zip line online and the video has been shared over 40,000 times on Facebook.
A “flying ghost” brings candy, and beverages for the adults, from the front porch to the end of the lawn.
