Michigan State-Notre Dame weekend kicks off

Top 25 match ups are nothing new for the Fighting Irish. They start their first of the season in Saturday's game against Michigan State.

It's a rivalry renewed. The two met every year for more than 6 decades. But this will be their first game since 2013. 

Notre Dame weekends are always filled with plenty to do. This one is no exception. 

It all starts with Football Friday, with Stadium tours taking place throughout the day. That's free of charge. And so is the pep rally at 5:45 in Purcell pavilion. 

Get up bright and early Saturday morning for the Gameday Chase. It benefits the Kelly Cares foundation. The 5k and 10k start and finish at Eddy Street Commons.
