Michigan State Police arrest man attempting to steal Catalytic Converter

THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- Michigan State Police were sent to the 16000 block of Marcellus Rd. in Three Rivers, Mich. for a man attempting to steal a catalytic converter on Sunday.

The man now identified by police as a 64-year-old, was reported by witnesses to be cutting a catalytic converter off a vehicle and then the man fled into a wooded area.

The man was found, arrested, and sent to the St. Joseph County Mich. Jail for felony charges, according to State Police.
