Middlebury Food Pantry holding "Spring into Action for Kids" event April 20

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. -- The Middlebury Food Pantry announced a special "Spring into Action for Kids" event on Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

"During this event, every child visiting the pantry will receive toys and treats in addition to their family receiving a week's worth of essential food items," organizers said. "The aim of the event is to remind children that amidst challenging times, being a kid is also about having fun."

The pantry is always accepting donations of toys and treats, and organizers say those donations make events like this possible.
